WHY WAS BETTER BOX CREATED?

Better Box is an initiative by Cooks Who Feed. Cooks Who Feed ethically produces kitchen textiles with a give-back, providing meals to those in need. The certified B corporation has provided millions of meals to those suffering from food insecurity.

In 2021, the company started working with home builders in Ontario, Canada, creating custom aprons and tea towels for their housewarming gifts. These custom textiles were included in the builders' gift boxes, alongside other traditional housewarming items. Upon seeing these gift boxes, the founder of Cooks Who Feed recognized that home builders were not fully leveraging the gifting opportunity.

This led the founder to connect with other Canadian purpose-driven companies that create products perfect for gifting. Together, these change-making companies began curating impactful gift boxes specifically for builders.
